Annual reports of high school districts, 1939-1997.

Reports from districts which operated high schools as well as elementary schools. Reports show school census; enrollment and attendance; number, cost, and kind of buildings; data on physicians, nurses, truant officers, supervisors, clerical help, textbooks, and health matters; school library statistics; certified teachers; financial data; and statistical analyses of teachers and pupils. Each district's annual Fall report, containing the estimated budget along with the pupil count taken on the third Friday in September, is filed with the previous year's annual report beginning in 1959/60. The processed portion of this series is summarized above, dates 1939-1974/75 (1973/74 omitted), and is described in the register. There are additional accessions dating 1973/74 and 1975/76-1998/99 which are described below.
